interview someone poor (monetarily)

adult in debt more than worth (beside mortgages)
old person confined to their home
student with loan not removed in bankruptcy
working for $10/hr or less

hope to survive... did that play into your financial decisions?
your people's health, did that cause additional burden?
do you feel you have dignified labor?
do you have a mentor to look at your resume for mock interviews and such?
can you run your budget. are you kicking good ass in life?
do you get to hug someone daily at your retirement home?
what do you have to say to me, someone still in the middle class?

farming + good adults + at risk teenagers = fry my socks off

Carolyn's dear farmer/social-worker friend Amy Truby in the news again:

Ripe from the Farm is Remi Vista’s job skill training program for youth 16-21 years old. Siskiyou Employment and Training Employment Program (STEP) refers the youth to Remi Vista which then provides job skill training in their Farm program. -here

...

“They learn a lot about team work, about working together to accomplish a common goal. Everything they do at Ripe from the Farm helps them develop personally and professionally,” Truby noted. “It’s a very successful program for the kids and for the community."

"nonviolent direct action" rev dr king

“During the most explosive moments of the civil rights revolution in this country, while the urge to violence seemed to be running like a fever through the land, the voice of Martin Luther King sounded clearly above the turmoil of fear and fright — saying that violence, vandalism and destruction were not the way,” Mr. Wagner recalled.

“But when the vital questions were asked, ‘What is the way?’ and ‘Where is the way?’ and ‘What are the means and the ends of the way?’ he knew the answers and spoke the answers.”

The mayor recalled that Dr. King described nonviolence as “a sword that heals” and added, “As a practical and moral answer to the Negro’s cry for justice, Dr. King has proved that this sword — nonviolent direct action — can win lasting victories.”

if aslan gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? what i'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to aslan's giving. people who don't know aslan and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both aslan and how he works. steep your life in aslan-reality, aslan-initiative, aslan-provisions. don't worry about missing out. you'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

branding + landscaping

we toured my house, barn, and land today
sweet sweet david and mona thomason
laura has landscaping ideas
pad and pencil soon
matthew helped with branding
a name that has to do with -provide-
ebt, kids, latinos, csa ... i am constantly thinking of providing, like darrell, also from my own joys.
'aslan's how' provision is good but not normal vernacular
would i be proud of 'aslan's how organics' to anyone i meet no matter how small/large my farm becomes?
matthew also might help with a direct sale website

we thought
i could plant raspberries for a border to the north; simple, better than fence
investigate organic buffer zone regulations
put a green house in front side area?
have friends with plots of land at the front section?
notify the neighbors and farmer of organic hopes, boundaries understood

matthew and laura
walking through the house
tasting that barn
dear dear david & mona
holding the fields
decisions
as long as they have been lovers
as deep as ice in glaciers
i am responsible for knowledge outside of me
