jonathan and his tractor are here; we will build the wash station behind the barn in the shade with good drainage. i bought a $100 steel tub from memorial-highway-recycle-people-next-to-les-schwab. the clean/soak operation will be run off the blanchard-edison-water-district as the sandpoint is unfiltered: a little sandy, and not monitored. i need to return the cheap hose i bought and purchase the twice-as-expensive-drinkable-water hose.

i looked into chicken fencing, 120' with electrification under $300 from Del's.
composted manure is covered to keep the nutrients from leaching out (those smelly tarps)
i am getting 18 gpm with my sand point well and will keep the psi of the system at 50 with a pressure tank and cut off switch. you could have your header down to 30 psi and be fine if you were only doing drip irrigation.
