.....]o[..... suddenly you're in love with everything

8:30am feed!
animals with christie at riversong
the rabbit ate some processed food plus some grass
the sheep have alfalfa plus field hay from eastern washington
the sheep ideally will graze for their food
hazel ate some apples and processed feed
the men turkeys are called 'tom's
the chickens ideally would be in portable pens moving everyday
more volunteers needed
one duck is still laying eggs, they get out of their cage in the morning
processed food
i caught a chicken and hugged it and kissed it and told it sweet somethings
ooh it was so cuddly
'christie look i got one'
the chicks got some extra calcium in the form of seashells
turkeys and chickens got processed food
we checked for eggs

prune!
first check for rot
second check for crossings then light and air (some under branches wont get light or air)
third shape the tree: cut off lower branch for mowing ease, cut of water sprouts that would take three years to develop into producing buds
fourth have really good conversation and love the gift of narnia

seeds!
burpe and lilly are mne's
first buy seeds from the farmers coop, buy territorial seeds... they specialize strains for the skagit valley
second buy direct from johnny's (maine strains are similar to the valley), and also later buy direct from territorial seeds
third if i have a business license type operation, buy direct from a wholesaler like osbourn
... save my own seed, develop my own strains, have rows growing just for their seed ...
((onion seeds can last three years))
