started reading Fukuoka ... depressing! I had to stop. Christie's weeds because of rototilling? Harley's story about not weeding and loosing a crop? Fukuoka hates plowing, versus Ryan and his horses? I hate corporate potato people. Fukuoka hates me? What is organic? What is natural farming? What is learning from nature? I had to stop. Remember those cool quotes about anti-fossil fuel usage I posted earlier........... -I met the engine- and it is biting closer home than I know what to do with. I think I will continue farming as I learned from my mentor for two years... but I could experiment with trying something more primal?
[Hard times at my day job are not soothed with farming analogies but making music, calling friends, blog.]
Love you all.
-Aaron.

ReplyDeleteHey Aaron!
ReplyDeleteon weeds, something I've wanted to mention to you...weeder geese...here's a little info on them, I haven't tried it, but depending on what and where you're growing, could work well:

Good thinking H. I have twenty chickens. I will try moving an electric fence with them this year or bait them into the right location (?) yay.
